elindra SG I want to know why am I paying more money but there is a drop in train frequency and it's always packed like sardines I don't even want to mention broken down air-con, poor ventilation and always having rail faults etc
sbst275 SG You go ask the ex-DFS exeuctive now SMRT CEO... She has no background to the tpt sector lah... Now off peak train frequency have to wait longer than the losing $$ North East Line.. NEL frequency even better
Kan_i SG i like fried fish... nice an salty lol Rainbow Trout my fav. i dont like fish with lots of fat... bit smelly
elindra SG SO and me don't eat fried food at home one It's either steamed/baked/grilled/stew/braise etc very least is stir-fry. No deep frying
the Bear SG you know the saturation point you were talking about? i think it's been reached for the train system... anyway, i'm pissed off with my neighbour.... just coz they eat dinner really late doesn't mean they can hang around here during OUR dinnertime! we offer the braindeath dinner as a hint but he's such a moron that he's still here yammering away wanna go talk to him with a claw hammer soon
elindra SG If you know how to steam fresh fish properly there is no fishy smell My mum's best dish is steamed fish. She beats many resturants handsdown on that Ended up that if we eat steamed fish outside, it's very highly that we will complain about the lack of standard
the Bear SG steamed fish is easy.. fish has to be VERY fresh.... sea bass and pomfret is dead easy.. add tomatoes, kiam chye, some of those preserved pickled plum things, a few bits of dried tamarind, some sliced up chinese mushrooms and steam... that's it
elindra SG Blah I hate it teochew style. The preserved pickled plum thingy basically hides any weird taste if any and I hate to eat pomfret as it has this weird fishy taste to it. I like it Cantonese style with just the hot oil and soysauce and it must be steamed just right that the fish is not overcooked (which alot of resturants tend to do) Also the soysauce must be of good quality
the Bear SG yeah.. dad's part of the Residents Committee.. and this dude has known my folks longer than i've been alive... i think i'll go down and start eating.. i've been hungry since 1:15pm
elindra SG She don't cook very often now due to work I was complaining to her why is it when I go over for a visit It's usually take-out as well
the Bear SG that's even easier steam... then to insanely hot oil, add a little soy and some scallions or coriander and garlic... pour over steamed fish
